This is a personal, static blog. I don’t run ads, comments, or analytics, and I don’t set cookies myself.

What gets processed and why

The site is delivered by a hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare). When you visit, short-lived technical logs may include your IP address and basic request info (e.g., user agent, requested URL, timestamp). This is needed to deliver the website and protect it from abuse (e.g., DDoS). Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Search

On-site search runs in your browser against a static index (no queries are sent to me or to a third-party analytics provider). CDN access logs may record that a search file was requested, but not your search terms.

Cookies

I don’t use analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies in limited cases (e.g., bot mitigation or load balancing). These are not used for advertising or profiling. For details, see Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.

Who processes data

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting/CDN services. For those services it generally acts as my processor. For certain network and security operations, Cloudflare may act as its own controller. You may contact me for requests about visits to this site; for Cloudflare’s independent activities you can also consult Cloudflare’s privacy page.

Changes

I may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when this version took effect.
