In this first post, I’d like to share the philosophy behind this blog and the kind of content you can expect to find here.

Philosophy

The core idea guiding this blog is the protégé effect:

The best way to learn is by teaching others.

This approach really works for me for a couple of reasons:

• When I study something with the intention of teaching it later, I naturally dive deeper and understand it better.
• Explaining a concept helps me uncover gaps in my understanding and then I can fill those gaps.
• Teaching something forces me to organize my thoughts clearly, which strengthens my overall grasp of the topic.

Content

I’ll be writing about topics I’m curious about and want to learn more deeply.
Most of the time, that means content related to cybersecurity. But I won’t be sticking to a strict schedule or setting deadlines: this blog is meant to grow organically alongside my learning.
